Spearmint
Indications:
Spearmint essential oil is known to increase metabolism, is anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, mucolytic, a gallbladder stimulant and digestive aid.
Application
Topical: Apply topically as desired. May need to dilute.
Inhalation: Diffuse
Internal: Suitable for a dietary supplement.
Safety:
Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We’ve never known this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your doctor if necessary.
Disclaimer:
If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult your healthcare provider prior to use. Peppermint essential oil is known to reduce milk supply. Adding Fennel essential oil to your drinking water (in a glass - not plastic) may compensate for the reduction since Fennel increases milk supply. This has been my personal experience.
