Sea Buckthorn Berry essential oil is used to promote the recovery of various skin issues such as acne, rosacea, eczema and other such skin issues, burns, bed sores, wounds (including wounds that are slow to heal), burns, sunburns, therapeutic radiation treatment, laser surgery, skin ulcers, mouth ulcers (direct application) and cancer. It is noted to retard skin maturation (slows the aging process).

The essential fatty acid content of Seabuckthorn Berry is 80-95%. The major EFAs are oleic and linoleic acids.
