Extraction Method: Steam distilled leaves

Geraniol 85.70%

Geraniol acetate 10.02%

Linalool 1.23%

beta-Caryophyllene 0.90%

Indications:

Palmarosa may be beneficial for candida, circulation, digestion, fever, infection, nervous system and skin issues (rashes). It is especially valuable for many types of skin issues because it stimulates new cell growth, regulates oil production, moisturizes and speeds healing.

Palmarosa has been known to help reduce stress and promote recovery from nervous exhaustion. It may have a normalizing effect on the thyroid gland.

 

Application

Topical: Apply on as desired, especially effective applied over heart, thymus (under breastbone), temples, and wrists. Add to Epsom Salt and then to bath water.

Inhalation: Diffuse

Internal: Generally regarded as safe (GRAS) by the FDA for internal consumption. Dilute one drop in 1 tsp. honey or 4 oz. beverage. Not recommended for children under 6 years old; use with caution and in greater dilution for children 6 years and older.

 

Safety:

Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We’ve never known this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your doctor if necessary.
