Properties and Usage

Oregano is a powerful anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, anti-oxidant, anti-allergenic, anti-inflammatory and immune-stimulant.

Used for arthritis, rheumatism, respiratory infectious diseases, infections, tuberculosis and digestive problems. Helps heal psoriasis, eczema, athlete’s foot, flu and other infectious ailments. Further, it can be used to treat bacterial infections like E Coli, Giardiasis and food poisoning. It relieves congestion. Certain studies reveal that it is as powerful a painkiller as the best ones in the market, with the added benefit that it is without the side effects. Oregano Oil, being sedative in nature, calms down allergen hyper-sensitivity.


 

Application

Topical: Dilute 1 part Oregano to 4 parts carrier oil and apply 1-2 drops on location or neat as in Raindrop Technique. Apply to Vita Flex points.

Inhalation: Diffuse

Internal: Oregano is Generally regarded as safe (GRAS) to take as a dietary supplement. This is a "hot" oil; dilution may be necessary.


Safety

Oregano can cause irritation of skin and mucus membranes if not diluted.

Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We’ve never known this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your doctor if necessary.
