Lavandin
Lavandula x hybrida
Indications:
Lavandin is a hybrid plant developed by crossing true Lavender with Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia). It is used throughout Europe to sterilize animal cages in veterinary clinics and hospitals.
Lavandin is antibacterial and anti-fungal. It has stronger antiseptic properties than true Lavender and also greater penetrating qualities. This makes it well suited to help with respiratory, circulatory and muscular issues. Although is has the same calming properties as true Lavender, it is not recommended to us on burns as you would true Lavender!
Application:
Topical: Apply on location as desired, but not suitable for burns (use true Lavender instead).
Inhalation: Diffuse
Safety: Avoid eye contact. In case of
accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the
eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We’ve never known
this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel
