Laurel Leaf is also known as Bay Laurel or Sweet Bay. It is known to be antiseptic, digestive aid, diuretic and anti-fungal. It has been used to help with loss of appetite, asthmatic issues, chronic bronchitis, flu symptoms, hair loss, scabies and viral infections. Is has also been used to stimulate nerve regeneration, joint pain and respiratory infections.

 

Application:

Topical: Apply on location as desired. A caution is noted when using on children under 6 years old, and dilution is recommended for children over 6 years old.

Inhalation: Diffuse

Internal: Is generally regarded as safe to be taken as a dietary supplement by the FDA. Suggestion is to dilute one drop of oil in 1 tsp. raw honey or 4 oz. beverage.


 

Safety

Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We’ve never known this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your doctor if necessary.
