Properties and Usage:

Hyssop has strong antiseptic properties and is noted for opening the respiratory system. It is a mucolytic and decongestant, is anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, antibacterial, antiparasitic and regulates lipid metabolism.

Hyssop is useful for respiratory infections, congestion, parasites, viral infections, bruises, lack of energy, circulatory disorders and allergies.

 

Application:

Topical: Dilute 50/50 with a carrier oil and apply on location or as desired

Inhalation: Diffuse

Internal: Generally regarded as safe; dilution recommended

Safety:

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or UV light if applying to exposed skin. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We’ve never known this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your doctor if necessary.
