White (Silver) Fir

Extraction Method: Steam distilled from needles

Key Constituents:

alpha Pinene 8-12%Camphene 7-15%

Properties and Usage:

White/Silver Fir is anti-tumoral, anticancerous, antioxidant, antifungal and pain relieving

White/Silver Fir is useful for respiratory and sinus infections, bronchitis, chills, coughs, tuberculosis, and is a decongestant, has use as a deoderant, disinfectant, expectorant, rubefacient and stimulant.

Application:

Topical: Dilute White Fir 50/50 with a carrier oil and apply on location or as desired

Inhalation: Diffuse (undiluted)

Internal:  White Fir is considered by some sources to be safe for internal use, but our suggestion is that it is primarily suited for effective topical and diffusion use. If you use it internally, the recommendation is to dilute it.

 

Safety:

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or UV light if applying to exposed skin. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We’ve never known this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your doctor if necessary.
