Eucalyptus Citriodora is also known as Lemon Eucalyptus. Lemon Eucalyptus is a great source for natural citronella.

Properties and Usage:

Eucalyptus Citriodora is analgesic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, deorderant, purifying, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, expectorant and insecticidal.

Eucalyptus Citriodora is used to fight fungal infections such as athlete's foot, ringworm and Candida, dandruff, respiratory infections, asthma and viral infections such as Herpes, colds and shingles. It is useful for skin infections such as chicken pox and assists arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatism, muscle and joint aches and pains, injuries and sprains, lowers blood pressure, aids hypertension, recovery support after heart attack and assists recuperation from long illness. Eucalyptus citriodora essential oil is soothing, calming, eases shingle pain, increases urine flow, and is a urinary antiseptic.

 


Application:

Topical: Dilute Eucalyptus Citriodora 50/50 with a carrier oil and apply on location or as desired

Inhalation: Diffuse (undiluted)

Internal: Not suggested for internal use

 

Safety:

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or UV light if applying to exposed skin. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We’ve never known this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your doctor if necessary.
