The aroma is warm and spicy but not nearly as sweet as cinnamon bark. For soap making and potpourri, cinnamon leaf blends especially well with clove and orange. If seeking the aroma of cinnamon spice, purchase Cinnamon Bark.

Powerful antiseptic, analgesic, anti-viral, anti-rheumatic, powerful anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory, bactericidal, deodorant, expectorant, fungicidal, insect repellant, purifying, sedative (CNS, cardiac, anti-hypertensive)

Indications: 

Skin: athlete's foot, fungal infections, dandruff, herpes, insecticide, sores

Muscular/Skeletal: arthritis, rheumatism; muscle & joint aches & pains, injuries and sprains

Cardio-vascular/Lymphatic: may help to lower blood pressure, aids hypertension (MDR), recovery support after heart attack

Immune: colds, fevers, infections such as zona (herpes), chicken pox, aids recuperation from long illness

Genito-Urinary/Reproductive: urinary antiseptic, cystitis, vaginitis, increases urine flow

Nervous Brain/Mind: soothing, calming

A natural insecticide.

 

Application:

Suitable for topical use, but dilution of 1 part essential oil to 4 parts carrier oil is recommended. Apply 1-2 drops on location or Vita Flex points.

 

Safety:

Not for children under 6 years old, and use with caution and in greater dilution for children older than six. May be sensitizing due to aldehydes.

Not for use during pregnancy. Do not use in cases of hemophilia or severe kidney or liver disease. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We've never known this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call you doctor if necessary.
