Key Constituents:

Cinnamic aldehyde 75.72%

Eugenol 8.00%

Beta-Caryophyllene 2.30%

Linalool 1.60%

The scent is extremely powerful and warm-spicy with an unusual sweetness. For aroma, blends well with citrus oils (especially orange) and Frankincense.

Properties:

Anti-inflammatory, powerfully anti-bacterial, anti-infectious (intestinal, urinary), anti-viral, anti-microbial, anti-oxidant, antiseptic, anti-fungal, anti-coagulant, circulatory stimulant, stomach protectant, immune stimulant, purifier and anti-parasitic (worms)

Indications:

May be helpful for cardiovascular issues, infectious diseases, viral infections (such as Herpes), digestive complaints, ulcers, warts, teeth and gums. According the Higley’s, testing has yet to find a virus, bacteria or fungus that can survive in the presence of Cinnamon Bark.

Applications:

Suitable for internal and topical use, but dilution of 1 part essential oil to 4 parts carrier oil is recommended. Apply 1-2 drops on location or Vita Flex points. Generally regarded as safe (GRAS) for internal consumption by the FDA. Dilute one drop oil in 2 tsp. raw honey or 8 oz. beverage. May need more dilution. May be diffused, but may irritate the nasal membranes if inhaled directly from diffuser or bottle.

Safety:

Not for children under 6 years old, and use with caution and in greater dilution for children older than six. May be sensitizing due to aldehydes. Cinnamon is on the “avoid” if pregnant list. Do not use in cases of hemophilia or severe kidney or liver disease.

Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We've never known this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call you doctor if necessary.
