I read a testimony of a five-month-old baby I’ll call Bob who had cataracts in both of his eyes so that he was considered to be 100% blind. Surgeries were the only option the medical doctors could offer. Bob’s mother posed her situation to an online discussion group and received numerous suggestions for treatment.

One suggestion was to use Dr. Christopher’s herbal eyebright formula, which was said to wash away cataracts and renew sight to some blind.

Another suggestion was to look into the recipe for an eyewash using Bragg’s Organic Raw Unfiltered Apply Cider Vinegar with the mother still in it (www.bragg.com).

There was no mention in subsequent reports from Bob’s mother that she used either of the first two suggestions, but I mention them here because they may prove helpful for others.

A month after treating Bob, his mother wrote to report that they used LAVENDER and BONES & JOINTS around Bob’s eye area, top of head, base of neck and bottoms of his feet. She also used her breast milk as eye drops and noticed the most improvement from doing this.

Initially Bob didn’t notice any movement around him unless it made a sound, but after 4 weeks he could follow someone walking around the room with his eyes. He focused on a TV for short periods of time and noticed moving lights on his favorite toy.

At seven months, Bob had his picture taken and he had red eye in his picture, which indicated that the light entering the eye was able to reflect back from the nerve behind the eye. This would not have been possible with cataracts that render a person blind. Bob’s mother reported that he would stick out his tongue in response to seeing her stick out her tongue, and he opened his mouth in anticipation of the bottle coming. Her protocol at this point included Ningxia Red [a powerful fruit based vitamin/mineral drink by Young Living that we can order at cost), Sulphurzyme (an MSM powder by Young Living that we can order at cost], BONES & JOINTS applied to right foot, LAVENDER to left foot and FRANKINCENSE around the eye like a raccoon’s mask. She was still using breast milk as eye drops.

Food for thought: Bob’s mother also noted that she felt that when she tried an oil Bob that produced a negative reaction (for example he’d curl his nose or fussed about it), she would keep using it. If an oil didn’t bother him, she didn’t use it. The thought behind this is that if you don’t like the aroma of an oil, then this is an oil that your body really needs. It will do the most to help you detox.

I found three other testimonies where people spoke of taking Ningxia Red and their cataracts disappearing within a year. Other natural treatments mentioned for cataracts are:
1. Equal amounts of ANISEED and CORIANDER essential oils taken by capsule morning and evening.

2. CASTOR OIL drops (pure and no preservatives) nightly.

3. Raw, organic CARROTS and or carrot juice twice daily.

4. The use of GARLIC is another effective home remedy for cataract. Two or three cloves should be eaten raw daily. They should be chewed slowly. Garlic helps to clean the crystalline lens of the eye.

5. The use of unprocessed pure HONEY is another effective remedy for cataract. A few drops of honey should be put in the eyes. This is an ancient Egyptian remedy which has reportedly benefited many patients.
