Extraction Method: Steam distillation from roots

Key Constituents:

Limonene 60-70%

Alpha Pinene 5-8%

Alpha and Beta Phellandrene 3-6%

 

Properties and Uses:

Angelica Root has anticoagulant can relaxant properties. It is useful for throat and lung infections, indigestion and menstrual disorders (PMS)

 

Application:

Topical: Dilute 50/50 with a carrier oil and apply 2-4 drops on location as desired.

Inhalation: Diffuse (undiluted)

Internal: Can be taken internally: Dilute 50/50 with a vegetable oil, put into a capsule and take up to three times daily.

Caution: Avoid applying to skin that will be exposed to direct sunlight or UV light within 24 hours.

 

Safety:

Use with caution if susceptible to epilepsy. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We’ve never known this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your doctor if necessary.
