Properties & Uses:

Allspice essential oil has sweet, spicy, clove-like aroma. The name "allspice" originates from the likening of the aroma to a mixture of nutmeg, clove and cinnamon.

Allspice essential oil is analgesic, antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral, and a muscle relaxant. It is used for joint aches and pains, bronchitis, colds, coughs, cramps, dental infections, fatigue, flatulence, indigestion, muscle cramps, nausea, nerve issues, viral infections. It may help reduce stress, depression and mental/emotional exhaustion. It is used in perfumes, soaps and aftershave.

 

Application:

Topical: Dilute 50:50 with a carrier oil and apply 2-4 drops on location as desired.

Inhalation: Diffuse (undiluted)

Internal: Dilute 50/50, put into a capsule and take up to three times daily or as needed.

 

 

Safety:

Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye. Water will not adequately dilute the oil. We’ve never known this to cause permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your doctor if necessary.
